Brewery: dupetit Natural Products ?
Brewery Location: Richelbach, Germany ?
Alcohol: 5%
This was another beer my coworkers gave to me when I stopped working at my last job.
I am not entirely sure of the brewery name or location, as both the website and the bottle itself were not very clear. I suppose that does follow the theme, though, in that is felt a little half-baked…
This beer was a little more unique than most beers I have had in that it had hemp in it, which was an interesting ingredient. The company that produced this beer also seems to produce a lot of other hemp related products like perfume and other various items.
In the end, this was simply a pils with an extra ingredient.
Sight: An interesting bottle. A bit of head that slowly died off. The beer itself is a mildly transparent, golden color.
Smell: I was kind of hoping and expecting a sort of weed/hemp smell, considering that it has hemp in it, but it really just smelled like a normal lager to me.
Taste: I can’t say this tasted too unique either. Mostly like a lager, although there was a bit of an aftertaste in the back of the throat that did remind me of other “hemp”-related activities, although I don’t think it was strong enough to really warrant getting this beer again.

Overall
It actually wasn’t a bad beer, but there was some expectations going into it that were not fully realized. I wouldn’t scoff at drinking another one, but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again. Like the green tea beer, I consider it an interesting experience, but not once that I would miss never doing again.
