Brewery: Birrificio Indipendente Elav
Brewery Location: Comun Nuovo, Italy
Alcohol: 9.5%
This was just a beer I got a while back while I was waiting in an airport for my flight. The logo caught my eye, and since I like IPAs, I figured I would give it a shot.
Sight: Very little foam and a thick, orange color. It kind of looked like a few sediments were floating around, but nothing too bad.
Smell: It smelled like any standard IPA: bitter and hoppy.
Taste: There was a stronger bitterness on the back of the throat than I had expected, but it was still good enough, even if it wasn’t as flavorful as other IPAs I have had. I feel like the high amount of alcohol came through too much, masking the other tastes.

Overall
It was pretty decent, but I don’t think I would go out of my way to get it again. I was more enticed by the logo as I was walking around the airport, and it just simply wasn’t as flavorful as other IPAs.
