Camden Pale Ale Review

Brewery: Camden Town Brewery

Brewery Location: Ponders End, England

Alcohol: 4%

I ordered this while I was in the Dublin Castle Bar in Camden. I found the bar by chance and stuck around to watch some live music. While enjoying the show, I also enjoyed a few beers, including this one.

Sight: A cloudy golden color with very little head. It was hard to get a real good look at it, though, since I was in a dark bar.

Smell: Hoppy and fruity. Quite pleasant, and a nice contrast to the sweaty people dancing around.

Taste: Pleasantly hoppy, but it leaves a very strong hop aftertaste in your mouth for quite a while, which was abnormal.

Overall

Good, and I would drink again.

I tried the Camden Hells Lager, but I didn’t like it as much. That beer was too mild for me. And then, when I was about halfway through it, it suddenly started to smell like methane. Maybe someone farted while I was drinking it, but it kind of ruined the experience for me, haha.

In any case, the pale ale was very enjoyable
