Crazy Mountain Amber Ale Review

Brewery: Crazy Mountain Brewing Company

Brewery Location: Edwards, Colorado

Alcohol: 5.25%

This was just a beer that I got at a bar when I went to Manchester. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it’s actually an American beer. I just really wanted an amber ale, which is why I ordered it.

Sight: A deep amber color that was mildly transparent. A fine head that stuck around for a while.

Smell: A distinctly hoppy aroma, but nothing that was too strong. Overall, I found it to smell pleasant, if not normal.

Taste: A very pleasant taste. Mild, but still with a nice hoppiness, although I felt like I detected a mild maltiness to it as well. There was an enjoyably bitter aftertaste in the top part of the throat.

Overall

At 7 pounds a pint, it’s not something I would normally get. I would however be willing to drink it much more often if I found it at a more moderate price.
