Brewery: Eastside Brewing
Brewery Location: Latina, Italy
Alcohol: 6.5%
This was the 2nd of 3 beers that I got in the craft bar while there with my friend. This is a black IPA, and I see why they call it so.
Sight: It is super dark, probably about the darkest and blackest beer I have seen yet. It was completely opaque, not allowing any light to really seep through. There was a decent amount of head that stuck around for the long haul, not really going away for quite a while.
Smell: A milder aroma with a slight maltiness.
Taste: Not terribly bitter, but still a strong taste that hit all the taste buds. A slightly roasted or burned taste that was quite pleasant, with maybe even a touch of coffee.

Overall
I really liked this. I sampled 2 beers—a coffee porter and this one—and there was no competition, this was the one I ordered a full pint of. I definitely didn’t make a mistake in that decision and enjoyed every drop of this.
