I am not the biggest fan of Erdinger’s normal weizen, but I do like their dark weizen. I saw this in the store, and I figured I would simply try it. “Schneeweiß” mean “snow white” in English. Not like the fairy tale, but solely as a descriptive word—white snow—since this is a special winter beer. Note that the German title of the Snow White fairy tale is “Sneewittchen.” Continue reading →
Brewery: Not sure…
Brewery Location: Poland
Alcohol: Also not sure…
This was my favorite of the beers I had while I was in the PiwPaw bar. I unfortunately failed to write down the exact name and/or the brewery, so I am not too sure on all the information. I do remember asking for a Polish beer, though, so I can only assume that this was a Polish Milk Stout. Continue reading →
This was the second beer my friend and I got in the bar in Rome (after the first one). This was an unfiltered lager that was a bit stronger than the 4 hops. While this was a bit more what I was looking for, for a “7 hops” beer, it was still much less hoppy than I would have wanted. Brewery Location: I believe Sweden, but I am not positive
While I was in Sweden, I asked for a local beer, and this is what I got. I am not positive about too much other than the name and my experience with it. I tried looking it up online, but I failed to find much information on it. Continue reading →
This is my new blog, where I will finally start writing about all the journeys I have been on. A few people have asked me for a blog, and I guess it is now time to comply. I might also take the chance to write the occasional review for some product I used while traveling.
I am also a big fan of beer, so I will also start writing about different beers I have tried in different places, and my thoughts about said beers. There are so many beers to try, so I don’t believe I will run out of content there.
I Hope to post something every week or two, so I hope you come back on a regular basis!
